Minor Football

 

We played our second championship match last Sunday away to Clashmore. Following a poor performance all round we lost out by the narrowest of margins on a score-line of Rathgormack 4-2, Clashmore 2-9. Half time score was Clashmore 1-2, Rathgormack 1-1. We have a bye next week before we meet Ballinacourty in 2 weeks time.

U21 Football

 

Due to the terrible weather last week, last Friday’s U21 championship Eastern ‘A’ semi-final against Gaultier, which had been switched from Carriganore to Leamybrien on Wednesday, was postponed due to an unplayable pitch. It now goes ahead next Friday 18th February at 8 PM under lights at Carrickbeg. Please come along & give your support to the lads.

 

Membership

 

Membership for both players & non-playing members is now due & it can be paid to our club registrar, Ger Kirwan, or to any team manager.

Membership for the coming year is as follows: Juveniles up to & including minors - €10, U21 - €30, adult players - €60, non-playing members - €30.

 

Juvenile Football

 

Juvenile football indoor training sessions will continue for the next month on Monday nights in the community centre. Starting times have altered slightly with U6’s from 6:15 to 7 PM, & U8’s from 7 to 8PM. U 10/11’s have changed to Thursday nights from 7 to 8 PM. Anyone who is interested in coming along in the coming weeks is more than welcome.

 

U7 Football blitz

 

Our U7’s have there first taste of action with the club when they will take part in an indoor football blitz next Saturday morning in Tramore CBS. Parents will be contacted during the week regarding details & times.
