Junior Football

Our Junior’s opened their championship campaign with a facile win over a very weak Tramore side last Tuesday night at home. We were 4-7 to 0-1 up after 13 minutes, 5-17 to 0-2 at half time. The final score was 6-23 to 1-7. We play our second match at home to Gaultier next Friday night, 27th May, which is sure to be a far more difficult encounter. Throw in is at 7:30 PM. Team: Eamonn Cahill, Kieran Fogarty, Steven Flynn, John Crotty, Pat Terry, John Kirwan (Bally), Muiris Quinlan, Johnny Quinlan (0-1), Steven Power (1-0), Sean Lacey (0-3), John Kirwan (Cool)(1-6), Michael Curry (0-3), Darragh Kelly (0-4), Franny Halpin (4-1), Steven Kirwan (0-3). Subs: Paddy Crotty (0-2) for Franny Halpin, Richie Lacey for Sean Lacey, Mark Kirwan for Eamonn Cahill, Peter Foran for Darragh Kelly, Donal Larkin for Michael Curry.

Senior Football

Our senior’s Phelan Cup match at home against Ballinacourty fixed for next Saturday 28th May, is due to be rearranged & will likely go ahead on either Monday or Tuesday evening, 30th or 31st May. The fixture has not been finalised at the time of submitting the notes so please check the club website or Waterford GAA website for details.

 

FAS Worker

A position as a FAS worker for Rathgormack GAA Club as part of the community employment scheme will become available in the coming weeks. Anyone who is interested in the position & meets the qualifying criteria should contact club chairman, Noel Kirwan.
