U14 Football

We played our third championship match at home to De La Salle last Saturday, & we recorded a great win for our first championship success, on a score line of 4-10 to 4-3. This keeps us in with a chance of progressing in the championship & we play our final match at home to Sacred Heart next Saturday, 12th March, at 4:30 PM.

Team: Ian Dalton, Noah O Brien, Eoin Bray, Thomas Cahill, Alan Power, Gavin Sheehan, Aaron Hassett, Conor Murray, Derek Hogan, Daniel Hassett, Peter Behan, Steven Curry, Donnacha Hassett, Shane Dooley, Patrick Hahessy. Subs: Ben Kennedy, Connor Power.

Minor Football

Our match last week against An Gaeltacht was postponed & our next match is away to De La Salle next Saturday, 12th March, at 3:00 P.M.

U21 Football

The Eastern final against Mount Sion goes ahead next Friday night, 11th March, at 7:30 PM under lights at Carriganore. The facilities at Carriganore are excellent with a spectators stand overlooking the main pitch, which can seat a couple of hundred people so if the weather is wet all the Rathgormack supporters should be able to watch the match & stay dry. We call on all the clubs supporters to come along & cheer on the lads in their efforts to reach another County Final.

County U21 Footballers

This Wednesday night, 9th March, Waterford take on Munster Champions Tipperary in the Munster U21 Football championship under lights at Fraher Field. We have four players on the panel, Gerard Kirwan, Jamie Kirwan, Ronan Cahill & Paul Drohan, & we wish them all the best of luck in the match.

In action in Fraher Field

Our U10 team, not our U12 team as stated in last weeks notes, have been selected to play an exhibition game at half time at the Waterford/ Tipperary Allianz Football League match next weekend. This game is due to be played under lights on Saturday 12th March at 7:30 PM, but at the time of submitting the notes, there is a possibility of this fixture being changed. Check local media for details.

Deise Draw

We would ask our regular supporters to purchase their tickets in the near future. The first draw goes ahead on Friday, 25th March.
