Senior Football

We play Ardmore in the championship next Friday, 10th August, with a 7:30 PM throw-in in Fraher Field. It is 10 weeks since our last championship match, so let’s hope we can produce the form of the early part of the season, to secure a quarter final place & finish as high in the group as possible. The club would call on all our supporters to come along & cheer the lads on. We complete the league section of the championship when we play The Nire on the following weekend, Saturday 18th August, with a 7:00 PM throw in Leamybrien.

Junior Football

As predicted, our juniors last game in the Eastern league section of the championship last Saturday against St. Saviours failed go ahead as we receive a walkover. The Eastern final against Gaultier has not yet been fixed but it is likely to go ahead in early September.

Kellogg’s GAA Cul Camp

Our Summer Football Cul Camp goes ahead next week from the 13th –17th August, from 10 AM to 2 PM every day. The camp is for boys & girls from 6 to 13 years of age. This year the camps are sponsored nationwide by Kellogg’s & as part of their promotion, there is €5 off per child when you book online, using the special promotional code from Kellogg’s Cornflakes & Rice Krispies boxes. As usual all children taking part receive a Cul Camp kit & gear bag, but for anyone who already has a kit from the earlier hurling camp in Clonea, can attend for a reduce price. You can apply online before next Monday or just turn up on the first morning to register. Any queries to club coordinator, Tony Bolger, 087-2271520.
