No U21 County Final

Despite assurances from the powers that be last week, that the county final would be played last Saturday, no official fixture was issued, & to date we have no idea of when it will be played. This is very frustrating for all involved as it leaves our U 21 team unable to plan training etc. when there is no date for the final. It also impacted on our senior team in last weeks league match against Stradbally, as our U21 players were rested in expectation of the final. Hopefully the relevant officials will get there act in order & we will be somewhat the wiser in the coming days.

Senior Football

We play our second league match away to Ballinacourty on Tuesday 5th April at 7 PM.

Minor Football

Our minors went down to a 6 point defeat, 0-10 to 2-10, against An Gaelthacht last Saturday, meaning they need to beat Dungarvan in their final match at home next Wednesday, 6th April, throw in at 7 P.M.,  to be sure of a place in the semi-final. Please come along & give the lads your support in this crucial match.

U14 Football

Following their exit from the championship last week, our U 14’s took on De La Salle in the Feile competition last Sunday, but unfortunately were defeated on a score line of 3-5 to 1-6. This completes this teams competitive season, but the majority of the players will be involved with either our U13 or U 16 teams for the rest of the year. The club would like to thank Mikey Crotty, John Kirwan, Ryan Roche & Dinny Hassett for the work they have put in with this team this year.

Juvenile Football

Training for our juvenile footballer’s from U6 to U10 continues on every Tuesday evening from 6:15 to 7:15 PM throughout the summer until September. We would urge all those who have not attended the indoor sessions to come along on Tuesday nights. Newcomers particularly welcome.
