Minor Football

A famine & then a feast! After having their first three championship matches postponed, our minors most definitely kick into action this week with three games in the space of 8 days. As anticipated the fixtures have been re-jigged  & firstly we play away to Dungarvan on Tuesday 27th March with a 6:45 PM throw-in. Then on Monday 2nd April, were at home to Gaultier again with throw-in at 6:45 PM, before completing a busy week on Wednesday 4th April, when we are home to St. Pats, with a 7 pm start. A vital week ahead for this team who need to pick up a few points in these matches if they are going to make it to the knockout stages. Please come along & give them your support, especially for the home games.

Junior Football

Our juniors also get in to competitive action next weekend as we play St. Saviours at home on Saturday 31st March at 5 PM in the eastern junior/intermediate league.

Senior Football

Our seniors competitive season gets underway next Sunday evening, 1st April, when we play Kilrosanty at home in the league with a 7 PM throw-in. This match along with our second league outing in two weeks time, are vital in our preparation for our first two championship matches against Ballinacourty & Gaultier which are coming up before the end of April. Please come along & support.

Deise Draw

Last chance to secure your tickets before the first draw on the next Friday, 30th March. Tickets have been distributed to all club members to buy or sell, so please get as many back as possible to any committee member, or club coordinator, Tom Hassett.

County U21 Footballers

This Wednesday night, 28th March, Waterford U21 footballers travel to Tralee to take on Kerry in the Munster semi-final. We have 6 or 7 players on the panel with Gavin Nugent captaining the side & the team is managed by our own Mervyn Cummins.
