U21 County Final

Our U21’s play Ballinacourty in the county final on Wednesday night, 27th March, under lights in Fraher Field, with a 7:30 PM throw in. This very unusual time for a county final has come about as a result of a busy fixture period in schools hurling, & inter county competitions running into the start of the adult club championships, & the clubs were given the option of playing it on this date, or having to wait a few months & playing it at an unknown date in the future. Despite the unusual time for the final, we call on all our supporters to make a special effort to get to Fraher Field to cheer the lads on in their quest for county honours. All in the club wish the team & management the best of luck on the night.

U14 Football

The match against Gaultier last Saturday was postponed due to the inclement weather & will be re-arranged in the near future.

Minor Football

Our minor’s championship match away to Roanmore last Saturday was postponed due to the weather. Our previously postponed match against The Nire went ahead last Wednesday night under lights in Leamybrien & we suffered a 7 point defeat, 1-12 to 0-8 after a poor performance. It is not clear when the minors will be playing again as there is some uncertainty due to the Dungarvan schools involvement in college’s matches.

Intermediate Football

The league match against Portlaw last Sunday was postponed due to the weather. They play Kill next Sunday, 31st March, at 11:30 AM in Rathgormack.

Senior Football

Our seniors start a busy period of competitive action over the next few weeks when on Easter Monday 1st April, they play Brickey Rangers at home in the league with a 2:30 PM throw-in.
