Junior Football

The junior football eastern final against Gaultier goes ahead next Saturday 24th September, at 2:15 P.M. in Dunhill. Please come along & shout on the lad’s, as we need all the support we can get in order to overturn an earlier championship defeat to the same opposition.

Senior Football

The draw for the relegation playoff has been made & we face St. Saviours on the weekend of the 1st/2nd October with an official fixture not yet issued. The losers will play Ballinameela to see who will play intermediate football next year.

U16 Football Championship

Our U16’s had their fourth win of the championship away to Kilmac, with a comfortable victory on a score line of 10-13 to 3-2 in a match which was switched from Saturday to Friday evening. The lads have qualified for the knockout stages but have 1 more game to play against Naomh Brid, which has not yet been fixed, to see who will top the group.

U 13 Football

Our U13’s kicked off their championship last Sunday morning at home to Tramore. In very windy conditions, we failed to take advantage of the elements in the first half, & only led by 1-3 to 1-1 at half time. A battling second half performance saw us stay in the lead until Tramore got their second goal about 5 minutes from the end, to see us lose out on a score line of 1-4 to 3-3. The lads have a number of games at home & away over the next few weeks & hopefully they will build on this performance & advance to the knockout stages of the championship.
